Objective

On completion of this course, the student will have the detailed theoretical knowledge of the aircraft's applicable systems, their operation, maintenance and troubleshooting to Aircraft Maintenance Manual level:

  • For electrical, airframe, power plant, avionic systems, and applicable components
  • IFE (if installed): only common interface between aircraft and the different IFE systems
  • Relevant in-service problems, bulletins, and instructions
  • Use of the technical manuals as approved data and procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant inspections and limitations applicable to human and environmental factors

Prerequisites

The students attending the course should have the following prerequisites:

·   AML license or basic training for Part 66 B1 and/or B2

·   Airbus A330 (RR Trent 7000) Cat. B1 and/or B2 AML or equivalent training

Closed book, multiple-choice with pass mark 75% per exam or course
